Electrical Service Manager

Are you an experienced Electrician who loves service work, organising and managing high performing teams and nurturing close relationships with clients? If so, Dobeli Electrical has an excellent opportunity for the right Electrical Service Manager to join our team.

As one of Central Victoria’s most awarded and respected Electrical Contractors, this role is an opportunity for you to grow with one of the industries’ leaders and shape a career that’s both meaningful and rewarding.

Reporting to the Director, you will be working closely with the management team and will have full responsibility for the Service department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Service Operations Management: 

Managing day-to-day service operations, developing service procedures, and improving service processes for efficiency.

  • Client Relationship Management: 

Acting as the primary point of contact for complex client issues, building lasting relationships, and ensuring client needs are met​

  • Staff Management: 

Hiring, training, supervising and holding accountable service teams to meet company goals and meet client’s expectations.

  • Problem Solving: 

Addressing and resolving service issues, implementing solutions to prevent recurring problems, and ensuring adherence to safety and industry regulations.

  • Standards & Performance: 

Establishing client service standards and developing and monitoring key performance metrics to ensure consistent quality and drive continuous improvement.

Key Skills, Attributes & Qualifications:

  • Communication:

 Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with clients and internal staff. 

  • Organisational skills: 

highly structured and organised in all aspects of your work.

  • Leadership: 

The ability to manage, motivate and hold the team accountable effectively. 

  • Problem-Solving: 

Be confident in identifying appropriate solutions promptly to solve sometimes complex issues.

  • Customer Service: 

A deep commitment to providing the best possible customer experience and satisfaction. 

  • Technical Skills: 

Proficiency with relevant software and technology to manage electrical operations and track performance metrics. 

  • Industry Knowledge: 

A strong understanding of the specific industry's products, services, regulations, and trends. 

  • Self-Motivated:

driven to grow and develop yourself and your team.

  • IT Proficiency and confidence: 

able to confidently and competently operate Simpro (or other high-end Job Management Systems) and MS Office (Word and Excel).

  • Experience:

Minimum 15-20 years in the Electrical Service Industry.
